How are we going to feed future populations ? By 2050 weโll need to provide milk two billion more people. If we continue to consume the way we do now, our food system and eco system is bound to collapse. Resources needed to sustain us such as water, farmable land and soil quality are diminishing.
A plant-based life is the smartest solution for the future as we can reduce our carbon footprint. Right now, cowโs milk requires so much land, so much water. Switching to a plant-based diet can help fight climate change, UN experts have said early this week (UNโs Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change โIPCC- Report (08/07/2019).
Also, itโs important to do not forget we shouldnโt sacrifice the environment for convenience. A coffee pod system itโs so easy to use, but we must change to sustainables alternatives such as biodegradable & compostable capsules.
